Oatmeal Cookies recipe – 164 calories
Ingredients:
2 cups rolled oats
2 cups sifted flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter
2 beaten eggs
1 1/2 cups coconut
1/2 cup lard
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups brown sugar
Preparation:
1.In a bowl, cream the butter, lard, and sugar.
2. Add the beaten eggs and vanilla.
3. In another bowl, add the sifted flour and the other dry ingredients.
4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture.
5. Roll into small balls, and flatten with a fork on a ungreased baking sheet.
6. Bake at 375 degrees F for about 10- 15 minute.
