Ingredients:
1 lb fresh strawberries (with leaves)
10 ounces dark chocolate chips
2 tablespoons canola oil
Preparation:
1. Insert a toothpick into the top of each strawberry.
2. In a double boiler, melt the chocolate and oil, stirring occasionally until smooth.
3. Holding the strawberries by the toothpicks, dip them halfway into the chocolate mixture (don’t cover them completely).
4. Place the chocolate covered strawberries on a cookie sheet and let them chill, then place in the refrigerator until they’re ready to serve.
