Braised Brussels Sprouts with Vinegar and Dill recipe – 40 calories
Ingredients:
3 lbs Brussels sprouts
2 tablespoons wine vinegar
1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation:
1. Trim the Brussels sprouts; half if desired.
2. In large pot of boiling salted water, cook the Brussels sprouts for about 8 minutes (if whole), or 6 minutes (if halved), until barely tender.
3. Drain, run under cold running water and drain again.
4. In a well-greased 13×9-inch casserole, combine the sprouts, vinegar, dill, and salt and pepper to taste; mix well.
5. Bake, covered, in a 350° F oven for about 10 minutes.
6. Uncover and bake for about 5 minutes longer.
