Apple Chocolate Chip Cookies recipe – 89 calories
Ingredients:
1 cup apples, peeled, cored and grated
3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
1 egg
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/3 cup margarine
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Preparation:
1. In a large bowl, cream together the margarine and sugar; beat in the egg.
2. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking soda and cinnamon.
3. Stir the flour mixture into the creamed mixture; stir in the apples, chocolate chips and oats.
4. Drop the mixture by rounded teaspoons onto cookie sheets.
5. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 12-15 minutes.
