  1. Love homemade tomato soup when I can get organic tomatoes. My recipe is pretty much the same except I use veggie stock and rice milk. Basil really adds that extra zing to it :)

  2. That looks delicisious – love the photo. Am going to try this recipe.

  3. This is one of my favorite recipes. I add a little tomato paste to enhance the tomato flavor especially if I make it in the winter when the produce is not so good. It can also be made with canned tomatoes in a pinch.
    Making Perfect Sense

  4. Hi if you use more tomatoes in your recipe, you can cut out the cream totally. Tomatoes thicken naturally without the need to add any potage (potatoes) or cream!
Add sweat the onions and tomatoes long enough to bring out their sweetness without the addition of sugar!
    Cutting down on calories! 😀
    I love your site!!

  5. Looks very appetizing even at 3am Paris time…

  6. This looks delicious and I don’t even like tomato soup. :)

  7. Same goes for me – I do not like tomato soup either, but that looks so good! All of your recipes look yummy, and the photos are amazing!

  9. This soup has the real thing, fresh tomatoes and heavy cream, and you can taste the difference. On top of that, it’s a real breeze to prepare. Round it out with grilled cheese sandwiches, potato chips, and pickles, and you’ve got the makings for a surefire family favorite.
